The Books
that are
making
History
out
of a
Christopher
Columbus!
|

|
Three books representing nearly 20 years of
investigative work
are changing the way we view our collective history.
A
message from the authors:
New documental evidence shows that we
have been fooled for 500 years. Christopher Columbus was not a
lowly wool weaver but a highly trained nobleman and a Portuguese spy. The
names Christopher Columbus (Latin),
Cristoforo Colombo (Italian), Cristóbal
Colón (Spanish), Cristóvão Colombo
(Portuguese), all try to refer to the same person who set sail in 1492. However
three of these names are not correct because the navigator had the Latin name
Christopher Colonus
and not Christopher Columbus.
Columbus is Latin.
Colombo
is Italian. Pombo
is Portuguese. Colombe
is French. Palomo is Spanish. Colom
is Catalan. All of these translate to "dove"
or "pigeon" but none of these are the name of
the discoverer because he used "Colon"
as in the Greek
Kólon
meaning "member".
What's in this simple name change? A lot. It gave us the wrong man and one which
never fit the bill. Today, after 18 years of chasing down the facts, we are
finally on the tracks of the truth, however, it is still difficult for most of
us to call him by his correct name of Colon
and thus we must keep using Christopher Columbus for now until we get used to
his correct name.
Because we always strived to find and to present the truth in this book (and so
that the doubts do not last for another 500 years), we are diligently trying to
prove the true family connections of Christopher Columbus (Cristóbal
Colón) by concrete scientific
methods including DNA analyses that are ongoing at the University of Granada and
other forensic means.
|
Both His Royal Highness,
D. Duarte Pio, Lord Duke of Braganza, and his
Lordship, the Count of Ribeira Grande (descendant of João Zarco), have kindly
agreed to our request that they participate in the DNA comparison with the bones
of his son D. Fernando Colon. We thank them greatly not only on our behalf but
on behalf of all those who are striving for the historical truth. We hope
that soon we will have solid evidence that proves Christopher Columbus's
bloodline connections to the royal courts of Portugal and Spain. |
